By accessing or using ClipSifter ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
ClipSifter is an AI-powered video search and instructional learning tool that helps users find relevant content within videos. The Service analyzes transcripts, synthesizes instructional steps, and streams video-based answers designed for learning.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the Service
- Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
- Upload or share content that violates third-party rights
- Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
- Record, download, reproduce, or distribute streamed videos without permission
5. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using ClipSifter, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content and third-party video content), is owned by ClipSifter and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary materials without permission.
Video content accessed through the Service remains the property of the respective content creators and YouTube. ClipSifter does not claim ownership of any third-party content.
All videos and instructional content provided through ClipSifter are streamed for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, or redistribute any video content without explicit permission from the rights holder.
7. Subscriptions and Payments
Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically. You may cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the billing period.
Search packs are one-time purchases and do not expire. Credits are non-transferable.
8. Refunds
We offer refunds for dissatisfied customers. Please see our Refund Policy for details on refunds and cancellations.
9. Educational Use Disclaimer
ClipSifter provides educational content only. The Service does not provide professional advice of any kind (including legal, medical, financial, engineering, or safety advice). You are responsible for verifying information and taking appropriate precautions when performing any task.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- AI-generated summaries will be 100% accurate
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
- Any errors in the Service will be corrected
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLIPSIFTER AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ClipSifter and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
13. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with YouTube and other third-party services. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or services.
14. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
